Here is a great looking 911 SC that we just took in on trade. It is a 1981 911 SC finished in Pewter Metallic w/ Black Leather and only 83k documented miles. This 911 is all original and extremely clean with what appears to be all original paint, which is in amazing condition as seen in the photos below! We just had a pre-purchase inspection completed. This is an excellent running and driving 911. This 911 SC has had two owners, which can be verified by viewing the Carfax report HERE The first owner was in Colorado until 2005 when the car was purchased by our customer from Lynnwood/Edmunds, WA. Few vehicles we come across have documentation as this 911, which is literally a 1" 3-ring binder with page protectors containing 25 years worth of records, including: the original window sticker, manuals, receipts, emissions tests, all the maintenance records, along with stamps in the maintenance book. The original MSRP on this 911 SC was $33,815, which has the following options:
Standard Equipment includes: 3.0 Liter 6-Cylinder 172 HP Engine, Fuel Injection, Breakless Capacitive Discharge Ignition., 5-speed Synchronized transmission, Four Wheel Vented Disc Brakes, Brake Booster, Light Alloy Wheels, Front Spoiler, Black Window Molding, Galvanized Steel Body, Front & Rear Stabilizer Bars, Tinted Glass, Air conditioner, Left outside mirror Electric/heatable, power windows, center console, oil level & pressure gauge, electric rear window defogger. Below are a few initial photos of this vehicle. Additional photos will be posted very soon... 07/05/2007: Added 25 new pictures (below the first 7) with many showing the flaws we could identify on this vehicle! |

Photos of all flaws we've identified as follows:
Wheels: Tires are good in front and 2/10ths & 4/10ths in back. Rims have no curb scrapes but aluminum is a bit dull in some spots (needs some mother's polishing) and black centers show some wear (could use repainting in center to be perfect with the last wheel photo being the worst for wear!)

Interior is very nice - no real flaws to disclose - definitely above average for the mileage!

Worst flaw on the exterior is on LF Fender and is a small dimple w/ a small scratch following it...

Shot from another angle...

Nose: Molding on front bumper is slightly warped and you can see an expected degree of rock chips...

Small chip/touch-up on LR lower fender (very minor)

Small chip/scuff on RF fender edge:

Door handles and nice w/ expected degree of scratching from finger nails...

Left Rear Quarter Fender has similar chip/scuff to front:

Moonroof molding edge wear:

Touch-up mark in front of hood corner:
